Yesterday we shared the news that two attractions were closed for the duration of the day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A lightning strike near Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was rumored to be the reason for the closures.

While there was no report of damage from Disney due to the massive lightning strike (click here to the watch video), the park’s most popular attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and the classic Muppet*Vision 3D remained closed for the day.
Today, the MyDisneyExperience App is allowing boarding groups for Rise of Resistance!

Along with Rise reopening, Muppet*Vision 3D is welcoming guests today.
We’re glad to see these two attractions back up and running no matter what the cause for yesterday’s closures may have been!
