Woman Admits To Purposefully Getting Arrested At Disney Springs For Revenge
While most people visit Walt Disney World Resort hoping to make good memories, some will not hesitate to act out of line, especially if they let their anger get the better of them. That is why Disney hires its own security guards and works with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to keep all guests safe from those who might act out.
One police officer working in Disney Springs over the summer was shocked when a woman committed a crime right in front of him. He was even more surprised when she admitted why she did so.

On August 12, 2024, Nicole Handboy was arrested at Disney Springs after she intentionally attacked a marked Orange County Sheriff’s patrol car with her purse.
Witnesses reported that Handboy approached the sheriff’s vehicle and struck it several times with her handbag. According to the arrest report filed by Deputy Christopher Morelli, he was seated in his marked patrol car when the confrontation took place.
After hitting the patrol car, Handboy began to walk away, prompting Deputy Morelli to exit his vehicle and question her actions. Her response was to ignore him and then run away, initiating a low-speed foot chase of approximately 50–100 yards.

Upon stopping Handboy, Deputy Morelli noted that she appeared intoxicated. During the arrest, it was revealed that she had admitted to deliberately striking the vehicle.
Nicole stated she got in a fight with her boyfriend inside Disney Springs and because he left Disney Springs without her she was upset and decided that if he wanted to leave her there she would make him pay money to come get her.
Handboy’s statement indicated that her altercation was a calculated decision meant to provoke a reaction. According to the deputy’s documentation, she believed her actions would compel her boyfriend to come back and “pay” for what she perceived as abandonment.

Following her arrest, Handboy faced multiple charges, including disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence. The circumstances of the incident and her admissions played a critical role in shaping the legal case against her.
During the subsequent court proceedings, Handboy pled no contest to the charges leveled against her. A no-contest plea indicates that while she does not admit guilt, she accepts the consequences of her actions. As a result of her actions, Handboy was ordered to pay $273 in court fees. Additionally, she received credit for the two days spent in jail following her arrest.
The incident with Nicole Handboy is not an isolated case. A review of recent arrest records at Disney Springs reveals a troubling pattern of inappropriate behavior among guests. Just a day before her arrest, a separate individual was apprehended for masturbating in one of the garages at Disney Springs.
Two months before that, another man was arrested for leaving puppies in a car for an extended period. The puppies were spotted and rescued, but sadly, one of them had to be put down. The man responsible for the reprehensible act has left the state, but blames Disney for what happened. He said that the puppies would not have been left alone for so long if the restaurant he was eating at had been faster with its service.
