Following very shortly after the announcement of the temporary closure of Disneyland Resort, Disney has now announced the closure of the Walt Disney World Resort.

The official Twitter announcement from Disney Parks News is as follows:

 

This follows the previous announcement regarding Disneyland Resort as we shared here.

We will be sure to keep you informed of any updates we receive on this historic closure.
