Disney World Announces Change to Classic Christmas Celebrations at Hollywood Studios
Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a seasonal makeover this year, as Walt Disney World Resort adds holiday films and props to the walkthrough exhibit dedicated to Walt Disney’s life and career.
A Look at the Exhibit

Walt Disney Presents explores Walt Disney’s personal story and professional achievements through permanent museum pieces. It also includes a rotating display space that usually showcases Disney Parks or Disney Cruise Line concept art, as well as film props and costumes. A character meet-and-greet area currently features Ariel from the live-action The Little Mermaid (2023), and a theater runs the 15-minute documentary Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream (2001).
This November, the rotating display space and the theater will take on a holiday theme.
What’s Coming for the Holidays
Disney Parks Blog shared the plans on October 6, as part of a larger announcement covering Walt Disney World Resort’s holiday season, which runs from November 13, 2026, to January 6, 2027. The announcement also included three Christmas ride overlays and a new Santa Claus meet-and-greet.

At Walt Disney Presents, the display space will feature props and artifacts from beloved holiday films. Last year’s lineup included screen-used items from The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992), The Santa Clause (1994), Babes in Toyland (1961), and more. Which films will be represented this year hasn’t been revealed.
The theater will switch to holiday-themed shorts, including Walt Disney’s On Ice (1935), Pluto’s Christmas Tree (1952), and The Art of Skiing (1941).
When to Visit

The holiday overlay will be available from November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. In past years, it has also been open during Disney Jollywood Nights, the after-hours event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This year’s event runs on select nights from November 7, 2026, through January 5, 2027.
