Universal Orlando Resort has now opened a highly-anticipated location.
Universal Orlando is home to two theme parks: Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Each theme park has a different experience for Guests to enjoy. Guests can immerse themselves in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Seuss Landing, Marvel Super Hero Island, and many more locations.

Universal Orlando has just removed the walls to reveal a new land. Theme Park Shark tweeted photos of Minion Land without walls surround Minion Land.

Guests will go bananas for Minion Land. This land will be located in Universal Studios, Florida. Guests will get to experience Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, and a new attraction, titled VillianCon Minion Blast. Minion Land will also include a Minion Cafe, Pop a Nana, Bake My Day, and much more.
Starting June 17, 2023, Guests can head to Minion Land for the soft opening of Minion Cafe. Minion Cafe Menu has a large list of different foods Guests can try. Universal Team Members have been spotted doing attraction testing for Villain-Con Minion Blast, which is set to open Summer of 2023. Scott Gustin tweeted that Universal Studios Florida will have a soft opening starting June 17, 2023 for Minion Cafe and confirmed that Villain-Con Minion Blast will open later Summer of 2023.

While this new land replaced many fan-favorites such as Shrek 4-D and the Classic Monsters Cafe, which was located where Minion Cafe is now, Guests heading to Universal in June 2023 are hoping Villain-Con Minion Blast will open soon now that Minion Cafe is having a soft opening. Universal’s Classic Monsters Cafe had previously been open in the location for more than 20 years, but the new Minion Cafe will certainly have be here for the long haul as Universal Studios Orlando has committed to Illumination properties, none of which are bigger than the Minions.
