Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge brings the culture and beauty of Africa to life amazing theming, décor, amenities, atmosphere, and more. The lobby of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most impressive in all of Walt Disney World and it features massive vaulted ceilings with wooden accents all around. The large space is brought to life with whimsical and authentic artwork and details including chandeliers which look like flowers or trees blossoming, railings that look like the bark of trees, and roofing that looks as though it has been recently thatched. With plenty of comfortable chairs and locations to relax, the lobby of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a wonderful place to spend time however the highlight is situated at the far end of the area. The far wall of the lobby features a floor to ceiling glass window that looks out at an expansive African savannah where animals such as giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and more roam freely.
