Top 10 Resort Restaurants at Walt Disney World

1.  Jiko, Animal Kingdom Lodge Jambo House

Mix the exotic atmosphere of Animal Kingdom Lodge with amazing food and you have my number 1 selection for resort dining:   Jiko.   Here you can bring your children, and though the prices aren’t inexpensive it is a great meal for a splurge.  In addition to dinner Jiko offers a wine tasting.  The seasonal dinner menu highlights African, Mediterranean and Indian tastes and includes the fan favorite Oak-Grilled Filet Mignon.  Although no longer listed on the menu, you can request the white cheddar macaroni and cheese as a substitute.  Everything is prepared in a show kitchen so you have some entertainment while you eat.  This is a definite must do for “foodies.”  After you finish your delicious meal take some time to walk around the Lodge and take in the architecture and artifacts, and step outside to see the animals or enjoy the fire pit.

About Sarah Chapman

I am a long time Disney fan since I was hooked on Walt Disney World with my first trip in 1987. Since that time I’ve tried experiencing everything I can in the parks, with a total of 30 visits and counting (I’m always planning my next trip) to Walt Disney World—not to mention Disney Cruise Line and even (shhh!) Universal Orlando and Sea World. I’ve turned my Disney obsession into a profession helping others plan their magical vacations as a Dream Vacation Maker at LBAC Travel. I am a work at home mom to three wonderful boys, and each one has been properly indoctrinated with all things Disney. Walt Disney World is definitely our “Laughing Place.” Look for me on Facebook at Facebook.com/SarahLBAC for updates, discount announcements, tips, tricks and planning advice for your next vacation.
