Top 10 Gift Shops at Walt Disney World

Shopping at Disney World Resort is some of the best shopping in the world. The products are high quality of course, but they also feature some of our favorite characters of all time. Additionally, the many shops located on Disney property carry many exclusive items that can’t be purchased anywhere else. That makes these products even more magical, and adds an extra touch of β€œpixie dust” to shopping in the most magical place on earth. That said, not all Disney World shopping is created equal. Some Disney gift shops are much better than others, and pinpointing the best of the best will help ensure you have the very best shopping experience possible. Here are our top ten favorite gift shops on Disney World property.

Β Β

1. World of Disney

First of all, we simply must mention World of Disney. This is the biggest Disney store we’ve ever seen, meaning the vast majority of the items you see sold throughout the parks can be found here. For this reason, we recommend paying a visit to this Disney Spring shopping location at the end of your trip to pick up anything you may have forgotten.

2. Mitsukoshi Department Store

Another super cool place to go shopping on Disney property is Mitsukoshi Department Store. This awesome shop is located in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase and carries all sorts of unique products. If you’re a fan of Japan and the many amazing characters from this country, this is the place for you.

3. Memento Mori

Meanwhile, those who prefer the creepier side of things will adore Memento Mori. Here you’ll find all kinds of Haunted Mansion-themed merchandise, meaning that since the store is (fittingly) located near Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom, you can get all decked out in creepy garb before riding. Of course, there is plenty of slightly odd and spooky decor and more for those who prefer to take their purchases home rather than using them right away.

4. Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar

Another Magic Kingdom shop, Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar is the gift shop guests walk through when exiting the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Many pass right through without a second glance, but this is a big mistake. This shop sells all kinds of pirate-themed stuff, and we can easily spend quite some time browsing and playing with all the cool things here.

5. Disney’s Days of Christmas

Christmas lovers will adore Disney’s Days of Christmas in Disney Springs. This shop has an enormous collection of ornaments as well as several other Christmas-themed items. We love going in here anytime our spirits need a little lifting, and it’s a great way to get a Christmas fix even in the middle of July.

6. Tatooine Traders

In an effort to cater to the many Star Wars fans out there, Disney created the ever popular Tatooine Traders. This store is located at the exit of Star Tours in Hollywood Studios, and is well worth a visit even if you don’t ride the ride. DIY droids and lightsabers are some of the most popular products found here, and it’s not hard to see why. Building one of these toys is an absolute blast and leaves you with a unique souvenir to take home.

7. Uptown Jewelers

All things shiny can be found at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom. This shop carries everything from charm bracelets and tiaras to limited-edition purses, meaning you can find the perfect gifts for the princesses in your life.

8. Tren-D

Do you like showing your love for Disney but prefer to do so in the most fashionable way possible? If so, you’ll love Tren-D in Disney Springs. This shop sell fashion-forward items featuring favorite Disney characters, an unlikely and awesome combo that we adore.

9. The Art of Disney

Art is what makes Disney…well, Disney. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that there are a number of awesome shops that sell art on Disney property. Our favorite of these is the large and wonderful Art of Disney in Disney Springs. This is the place to go for figurines, paintings, and prints of all shapes and sizes.

10. Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.

Finally, we feel that Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. deserves a place on this list. This shop is the perfect place to find the perfect MagicBand, and is conveniently located at the exit of Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland. Whether you prefer something solid, a character-themed band, or merely some cute charms, you’re sure to find just what you’re looking for in terms of MagicBands at this little shop.
