This Beloved Disney Pixar Character Is Finally Coming to Disney Parks!

When it comes to visiting a Disney Park, many Guests arrive with the goal of meeting a beloved character. Being able to experience a meet-and-greet with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, or a Disney Princess is sure to make anyone’s day!

But sometimes Guests want to meet characters that are harder to find. Luckily, this character is about to make her debut at a Disney Park.

When you hear the phrase ‘Disney Park,’ you probably think of Walt Disney World Resort. But there are Disney theme parks all over the world!

There’s Disneyland Resort in California, Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Some experiences are only available in certain theme parks, and meeting Mei from Turning Red (2022) is one of them.

If you’ve ever wanted to give the huge, fluffy, and adorable Red Panda Mei a big hug, your chance has finally arrived in Shanghai Disneyland! That being said, this experience is only being offered for a limited time.

From March 1 through May 31, Guests will be able to meet Red Panda Mei at Shanghai Disneyland. This will be the lovable character’s debut at Disney Parks.

The official announcement by Shanghai Disney reads:

Red Panda Mei from Pixar’s Turning Red will make her first-ever Disney parks appearance in Shanghai later this spring! With her cute and fluffy look and fun-loving attitude, Red Panda Mei is sure to charm her way into the hearts of all guests.
