Over in Disneyland Park’s Critter Country, the Splash Mountain ride is still operating with its signature log flumes and a big drop. Not only that, but the Tokyo Disney Resort version is also still operating.

But the Splash Mountain ride is already dead and gone in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Construction walls have been erected, and work has already begun on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. If you follow Disney news, then you probably already know this.
Slowly but surely, Splash Mountain will be phased out of Magic Kingdom. As of right now, the Laughing Place music can still be heard around Frontierland, but very slowly, the remnants of the attraction will be removed from the Disney Park.

Disney fans have been wondering if the secret hidden Br’er Rabbit will also be torn apart to make way for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

The apex of the attraction is adorned by an iconic structure, but when you look at it from the perfect angle, you’ll see that this structure actually makes out the profile of Br’er Rabbit, complete with his ears, eyes, and bunny nose. Even the color of the structure lines up with the color of Br’er Rabbit!
This adorable hidden Br’er Rabbit just proves the attention to detail Walt Disney Imagineering puts into attractions.

However, looking at the concepts for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, it seems that the iconic structure will be changed into something more appropriate for an attraction taking place in the Bayous of Louisiana. Time will tell if Disney fans will need to say ‘So long’ to Br’er Rabbit or not.
