Walt Disney World is a huge, amazing place chock full of entertainment around every corner. Many guests get so hung up on hitting the parks that they completely disregard Disney Springs. Sure, there is still some construction going on right now as Walt Disney World makes updates, which might keep some people away.
But here’s the thing, Disney Springs has a ton of dining and entertainment options. In fact, there are so many things to choose from, you may want to consider spending a whole day there! Take a down day from the theme parks and hang out at Disney Springs so you can move at a slower pace, relax, and hit the parks rearing to go the next day!
Here are ten things to keep you busy at Disney Springs! Grab a coffee at Starbucks and get going!
10. Amorette’s Patisserie
Located in Town Center, almost behind The World of Disney Store, is a slice of heaven known as Amorette’s Patisserie. This is a sophisticated pastry shop that you won’t regret visiting and tasting one of their many mouth-watering pastries. They also offer specialty cakes that can be pre-ordered.
9. Create Your Own Snack at Goofy’s Candy Co.
This cool snack experience is one of my Disney favorites. Design mouthwatering candy treats and watch them transform before you eyes. From chocolate dipped rice crispy treats to candy apples. If you can dream it, they can build it!
8. Planet Hollywood Observatory
Buzzworthy bites are winning over the masses at Planet Hollywood Observatory! This Disney Springs restaurant features an innovative cuisine courtesy of Guy Fieri, live entertainment and of course – awesome Hollywood memorabilia. Snag a reservation in advance as this is a popular dining destination.
7. The Coca-Cola Store
You simply can’t miss the massive and rather impressive architecture of the Coca-Cola Store located in Town Center of Disney Springs. Head inside to discover three floors, all with unique touches celebrating Coca-Cola. The first floor features a fantastic shop. The second floor offers more shopping, plus a photo op with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear! The third floor is our favorite, as it is a rooftop beverage bar with fantastic views of Disney Springs.
6. Aerophile (formerly Characters In Flight)
Lift off and experience a birds eye view of Walt Disney World Resort in the world’s largest helium balloon. Located at Disney Springs, this unique ride costs $15 for children and $20 for adults. Time it right and you may even catch a view of the fireworks.

5. The Boats of The Boathouse
The Boathouse is now a signature restaurant at Disney Springs. They specialize in chops and seafood, complete with a raw bar that oyster lovers will swoon over. Located right on the water, this perfectly themed restaurant will surely be a fan favorite. Even more perfect are the Amphicars (for those scratching your heads, that’s a car that drives on water) water tours offered outside the Boathouse. $125 for a 20 minute tour, pricey but an experience you may never find again!
4. World of Disney
If you thought the Emporium was a huge Disney store, then you’ve never been to World of Disney. It’s the biggest Disney store in the world! Explore massive space brimming with apparel, toys, and home products.
3. The VOID
We are thrilled The VOID has joined the scene at Disney Springs. Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire and Ralph Breaks VR are fantastic entertainment option at Disney’s Springs The VOID. Perfect for tweens, teens, and adults, The VOID is an ultimate virtual reality experience. Team up (or be teamed up) with four guests and go on your mission. The multi-sensory environment makes virtual reality feel like…well, REALITY!
2. Unique Shopping
Disney Springs boasts some really cool stores, like DisneyStyle, World of Disney, Build-A-Dino (by Build-A-Bear Workshop), and Once Upon a Toy. Plus, there’s non-unique, but equally fun, stores like the Lego Store, Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop, and Basin. There are shops all over Disney Springs. Explore them all to find awesome souvenirs, or gifts for friends and family back home. Bonus tip: Disney Springs is a great place to do some holiday shopping ahead of time!
1. The Edison
The Edison is a newer hot spot at Disney Springs! Offering amazing dishes, outstanding beverages, and exceptional entertainment, be sure The Edison is placed on your Disney Springs must-do list. The architecture alone is spectacular to take in. After 10:00pm, this place turns into a nighttime lounge for 21 years and over with a dress code. Get ready to have an incredible dining experience!
Of course, this list does not even begin to cover all the incredible things you can experience at Disney Springs! What are your favorites that didn’t make my list?
