Every fall, the Walt Disney World Resort hosts the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, where the Disney Park is filled with wonderful global marketplaces that serve up culinary delights from around the world. Each global marketplace features several food and beverage options, and many Guests love to spend many afternoons tasting their way around EPCOT and enjoying as much as possible.

While the global marketplaces are absolutely a highlight of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, there are also plenty of incredible activities only available throughout the event that offer up fun and entertainment for Guests in the Disney Park. From live concerts to scavenger hunts and more, here are all the amazing activities to enjoy at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Eat to the Beat Concert Series
One of the most popular events that runs throughout the entire length of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, performed in the America Gardens Theatre in The American Adventure Pavilion. This wonderful schedule of popular acts runs every Friday through Monday, and each performer puts on several shows each evening, offering Guests the opportunity to pick a time that is convenient to them. Several musical acts participating in the Eat to the Beat Concert Series this year include Joey Fatone & Friends, Air Supply, BBMAK, Shelia E., Robert Randolph Band, Hanson, Boyz II Men, Kenny G, and Sugar Ray. In addition to the big names that perform each weekend, local bands also perform throughout the rest of the week, ensuring that there is always live music to be enjoyed throughout the festival.

Guests who do plan on checking out any of the musical acts featured in the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival also have a unique dining opportunity to add on. The Eat to the Beat Dining Package offers Guests the chance to enjoy a meal at the Biergarten Restaurant, Coral Reef Restaurant, Garden Grill Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, or Spice Road Table and includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert or access to the buffet plus one non-alcoholic beverage. In addition to the delicious meal, Guests who take advantage of the Eat to the Beat Dining Package are also guaranteed a prime seat at one of the evening’s performances, which is especially great when the act is popular and the America Gardens Theatre fills up quickly.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak
A fun activity for kids, and kids at heart, is a scavenger hunt throughout World Showcase during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival with a unique prize at the end. Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak begins with the purchase of a special map at several designated locations, and Guests are then tasked with searching throughout the pavilions of World Showcase to find hidden Remy statues. They then have to match a sticker from the map to the location and can return to another designated location to turn in their completed map to receive a fun keepsake that will forever remind them of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Not only is Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak a great way to keep younger Guests occupied while in EPCOT, it’s also a great way to slow down and check out many quiet corners and details throughout the pavilions that often go overlooked.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit
In addition to Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, Guests can enjoy another scavenger hunt during the 2022 festival that focuses more on the Halloween season. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit will be available to Guests from September 29th through October 31st, and similar in requiring Guests to purchase a special map at a designated location. Guests then have to explore the pavilions of World Showcase to find cleverly hidden pumpkins modeled after favorite Disney characters and match the corresponding stickers on their maps. Once complete, Guests can return their maps to a designated location to collect a keepsake souvenir that is sure to be both spooky and related to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!

Emile’s Fromage Montage
Since the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is based on the opportunity to indulge in delicious bites from around the world, it is no surprise that the final scavenger hunt available throughout the event focuses on food. Emile’s Fromage Montage is a fun activity named after Remy’s brother and appropriately focuses on a favorite food of the species: cheese. To enjoy Emile’s Fromage Montage, Guests can pick up a complimentary Festival Passport and proceed to visit the global marketplaces and enjoy five cheese-based bites from around the world. There are over ten options available to choose from, and since you are only required to purchase five for the montage, it’s easy! Once complete, Guests can visit the Shimmering Sips global marketplace to receive a complimentary dessert served in a commemorative cup.

Exclusive Merchandise
The final fun activity that Guests can enjoy when visiting the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is browsing exclusive merchandise that is only available throughout the event. There are several unique lines of merchandise to choose from, which feature everything from general food-related items bearing the name of the festival and others with Figment, Tiana, Remy, Minnie, Mickey, and more. The retail locations throughout EPCOT sell a massive amount of exclusive items for the festival including apparel, artwork, pins, kitchen gadgets, ornaments, and more. With so many wonderful options to choose from, Guests are sure to find the perfect souvenir to bring home to remember their time at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
