Guests who spend time in EPCOT can enjoy sampling amazing items from marketplaces including Canada, India, Flavors From Fire, Greece, Italy, Germany, and much more. With so many options, it can be hard to narrow down the list of what bites and sips are considered must-tries, but this list focuses on the best of the best for 2022!
“Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce – Canada
A favorite booth that returns to the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival year after year is the Canada booth which can be found in the Canada Pavilion in World Showcase. The menu offered serves up favorites from nearby Le Cellier Steakhouse, and Guests cannot go wrong with a delicious steak option that is both hearty and packed with flavor. The “Le Cellier” Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon with Truffle Butter Sauce features a moist and juicy cut of meat perfectly paired with flavorful mushrooms and a delicious sauce that Guests will be scraping up every last drop of.
Sriracha-Lime Wings – Brew-Wing
The Odyssey building can be found on the walkway that connects Test Track Presented by Chevrolet and the Mexico Pavilion and welcomes Guests to enjoy both air conditioning and a popular global marketplace that serves up some mouthwatering options. Brew-Wing predominantly focuses on delicious chicken wings and Guests can choose from flavorful options including the Sriracha-Lime Wings, which are spicy and zesty and served with celery and ranch for some added texture.
Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Buffalo Sauce – Brew-Wing
Also available this year at Brew-Wing is a great plant-based option that combines crunchy vegetables with a spicy kick. The Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Buffalo Sauce are cooked and charred to perfection for the best crunchy bite and are topped with a generous drizzle of spicy buffalo sauce for an added kick of flavor that cannot be missed.
Spicy Salmon Donburi – Japan
The Japan global marketplace is always popular with Guests, and this year is no different, thanks to several delicious food options that are sure to whisk Guests across the world to the wonderful country. One food option that definitely should not be missed at Japan this year is the Spicy Salmon Donburi, which pairs spicy salmon, with sushi rice, shiso leaf, red tobiko, and rice pearls for a light, yet hearty, option that features some major flavor.
Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey – Greece
Mediterranean flavors are brought to life at the Greece global marketplace, which features a charming white exterior with bright pops of blue to make Guests feel as though they are strolling through beautiful Santorini. In addition to favorites like a Lamb Gyro and Spanakopita, Guests should not miss out on the Griddled Cheese with Pistachios and Honey, which features a generous portion of melted cheese with sweet honey and the perfect amount of crunch thanks to the nuts on top.
Roasted Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto and Potato Crunchies – Australia
Guests who are looking to dig into a hearty and filling meat-based option at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival have several wonderful options to enjoy, including one decadent offering found at the Australia global marketplace. The Roasted Lamb Chop with Mint Pesto and Potato Crunchies is a solid portion of juicy meat that Guests can pick right up with their hands and dig into and the potato crunchies add the perfect amount of crispiness with every single bite.
Fry Flight – The Fry Basket
The Fry Basket is a brand new global marketplace for the festival in 2022 and can be found in a futuristic red and silver building located just outside of Test Track Presented by Chevrolet in EPCOT’s World Discovery. Focusing on, you guessed it, fries, The Fry Basket features an indulgent Fry Flight, which offers up three unique flavor combinations for Guests to try. This delicious option should not be missed and Guests can decide whether they like the Sea Salt and Malt Vinegar Fries, Barbecued Bacon Fries with Smoked Aioli, or Sweet Potato Casserole Fries with Candied Pecans, Toasted Marshmallow Cream, and Caramel Whiskey best of all.
Salty Dog Cocktail – The Fry Basket
The Fry Basket also offers up a unique and delicious cocktail that is a beautiful light pink color that is almost (almost!) too good to drink. The Salty Dog Cocktail blends Boyd & Blair Vodka, grapefruit juice, ginger, simple syrup, and lime with a heavily salted rim for the perfect mix of tangy, sweet, salty, and spicy.
Taco al Pastor – Mexico
Year after year, the Mexico global marketplace is extremely popular with Guests thanks to its mouthwatering options that serve up authentic Mexican favorites with unique twists. This year Guests should be sure to not miss the Taco al Pastor which tops a corn tortilla with seared pork belly pastor, chipotle black beans, pineapple, pickled onions, and chives for the perfect balance of savory and sweet.
It Takes Two to Mango Margarita – Mexico
No food offering from the Mexico global marketplace is complete without pairing it with a delicious specialty margarita and this year’s option doesn’t disappoint. The Soy-glazed Sticky Wings with Green Onions and Peanuts is the perfect portion of fall-off-the-bone ribs with a decent coating of delicious glaze and nutty crunch from the peanuts.
Bourbon Bloody Mary – The Swanky Saucy Swine
It might sound strange to think of incorporating pork into a cocktail, but The Swanky Saucy Swine nails it with an indulgent sip that cannot be missed. The Bourbon Bloody Mary combines Seaside Grown Bloody Mary Mix with Labrot & Graham Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey and garnishes it all with a perfectly crispy strip of bacon that doubles as a stirrer.
Smoked Corned Beef with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds, Pickled Onions, and Beer-Cheese Fondue – Flavors from Fire
The Flavors with Fire global marketplace is a relatively new location in the festival’s history, but it has quickly wowed Guests with flavorful meats and food offerings infused with smoke and bold flavors from grills. One option to not miss this year is the Smoked Corn Beef, which is served with crispy potatoes, cheese curds, pickled onions, and a completely delicious beer-cheese fondue that is smothered on top.
Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Riesling-poached Pears, Red Wine-braised Figs, Candied Pecans, Honey, and Cranberry Toast – The Alps
The Alps global marketplace serves up some amazing traditional cheese options and this year introduced a sweet dessert take on a Guest favorite. The traditional Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese is now available with Riesling-poached pears, red wine-braised figs, candied pecans, honey, and cranberry toast for the perfect bite of sweet, savory, and cheesy with crunch from the nuts and toast and added texture from the figs. This is a truly unique dessert option at this year’s festival that is a must-try!
Schofferhofer Pineapple Hefeweizen – Germany
The Germany Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is home to the beloved Schofferhofer Grapefruit Beer, which is available from the regular beer stand and the Biergarten Restaurant and has become a Guest favorite over the years. Hosted by CORKCICLE, this global marketplace features many different innovative and delicious mimosas, as well as the totally indulgent Mimosa Flight which features small sips of the Tropical Mimosa, Key Lime Mimosa, and Blood Orange Mimosa.
Fisherman’s Seafood Pie – Ireland
The final delicious offering that Guests should not miss out on at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is a savory and hearty option that is served up at the Ireland global marketplace. The Fisherman’s Seafood Pie is a hot and steamy option that features an indulgent mix of seafood in a light cream sauce topped with a perfectly flaky crust for pure comfort food in every single bite.
