The Best of the Best! Top Five Snacks at Disney Springs

Credit: Disney

Everyday there seems to be more snacks announced at Walt Disney World!  Sweet, savory and so much more- there are snacks for everyone.  We have the top five snacks at Disney Springs to help you plan your snack must-dos.

1. Gideon’s Bakehouse: Cookies

The top snack you can find in Disney Springs right now are the desserts found at Gideon’s Bakehouse.  Known for their almost half pound cookies that take over 24 hours to create these cookies are unbelievably delicious.  Flavors range from the traditional chocolate chip to pistachio toffee.  If you aren’t a cookie fan, don’t worry as there are also cake slices to choose from.  These double frosted cakes are big enough to share.  Get here early though as the line here builds quickly often resulting in a virtual queue.

2. Amorette’s Pâtisserie: Mickey Mousse

If you can’t get into Gideon’s Bakehouse, don’t worry as you can find a sweet treat at Amorette’s Patisserie.  Amorette means “little love” in French and that is exactly what you can find in these beautiful edible works of art in this confectionery.  The Mickey Mousse is a chocolate chiffon cake, dark chocolate mousse and white chocolate mousse.  Delicious!  Pair your treat with a glass of champagne or sparkling wine to make this a perfect pairing.

3. Daily Poutine:  Traditional Poutine

Enjoy a more savory option by visiting the Daily Poutine.  You can prepare yourself for a cheesy, meaty, melty goodness with this food truck that offers variations on poutine.  We recommend the traditional poutine that features beef gravy and cheddar curds on top of thick cut fries, but you can also find unique options such as a Latin Poutine or an Italian Poutine.  This is a great spot for a quick, savory snack while shopping at Disney Springs.

4. AristoCrepes:  Bubble Waffles

Another sweet treat can be found at AristoCrepes.  This unique take on crepes combines a bubble waffle wrap with ice creams and delicious toppings.  The salted caramel bubble wrap and strawberry bubble wrap are the two we would recommend; however, if you are more adventurous or looking for a savory option, they have those as well.

5. Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew:   Donuts

Looking for a perfect way to start the morning?  Make sure to head to Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew to pick up some handmade donuts.  There are traditional donuts here such as glazed, chocolate or vanilla; however, what we really like are the fun “Funky Bunch” options.  These donuts such as cinnamon toast crunch, maple double bacon or peanut butter explosion might be more of a treat than breakfast, but either way we’re here for it!

While you are shopping around Disney Springs or waiting for your dining reservations, make sure to grab a snack from one of these five locations as you won’t be sorry.  Sweet and savory, classic and unique- no matter what you are looking for you are sure to find it here.

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking. I started introducing my love for Disney early to my family with a Disney honeymoon and then trips when our youngest of 18 months. Since then, our family has been to Walt Disney World over five times and we continue to plan and dream for the next trip. I love the magic that Disney brings to people through the theme parks, cruises, adventures and movies they create. As a teacher, I try to bring that magic into my classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” I recently reached a dream of mine as I joined Magic Vacation Planner as a personal travel advisor. With this team, I can now help others plan magical vacations. As a passionate writer, I also have my own blog at magicalvacationsbyjen which is also where you can follow me on instagram for trip reviews along with tips and tricks for your next magical vacation.
