Just a few months ago, Universal Studios Hollywood opened its newest themed area, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, as inspired by its already successful predecessor at Universal Studios Japan, and Southern California has one thing the Asia theme park doesn’t: celebrities!
Due to its close proximity to the movie capital of the world, Universal Studios Hollywood has a dedicated focus on the magic behind movies, as well as the celebrity aura that circles Southern California, giving visitors the star treatment! Moreover, Universal Guests got a real taste of the Hollywood experience this week when a celebrity attendee surprised many who came to enjoy stepping into the world of the Super Mario Brothers, Mario and Luigi, plus friends like Toad and Princess Peach.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD includes new technologically advanced perks like PowerUp Bands, allowing Guests to interact with elements around the Park. Plus, exciting attractions like Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, the 1-UP Factory, and Toadstool Cafe provide a variety of fun experiences for all ages.
Despite some theme park-savvy critics online, who took issue with the land’s sightlines, crowds, or visual differences from Japan’s, many have praised Universal for SUPER NINTENDO WORLD’s accessibility and detailed themes. In fact, the hype attracted a real-life celebrity icon to see it all for herself, none other than Megan Thee Stallion!

Ms. The Stallion, or Megan Pete, is an acclaimed musical performer known for her rap music and hit singles like “Savage,” and according to Entertainment Tonight, will be releasing new music soon. Of course, her 2022 sophomore album, Traumazine, was a huge success with fans, paving the way for another full-length blockbuster album.
Apparently, it seems between creating new music and planning the next steps in her career, Megan made time to take a day off at Universal Studios too! Indeed, fans shared photos excitedly on Twitter of running into the stylish rapper, who was more than happy to greet them and document the encounter:

Furthermore, it’s similar to one Walt Disney World Guest’s meet-and-greet with Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey of Chloe x Halle yesterday. However, even if you don’t catch sight of a single star besides Lucille Ball or Marilyn (wink wink), there are plenty of dazzling delights at both Universal Studios Hollywood and the Universal Orlando Resort, such as the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World, an all-new KidZone update, and much more with the Epic Universe expansion.
