We might only be a few days into September, but Halloween has been in full swing at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort for quite a while. Disney loves to celebrate a holiday, and it would never let something like summer get in the way.
At Walt Disney World, guests have been able to enjoy Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom for weeks. And the Magic Kingdom isn’t the only theme park getting in on the festive game. Guests can head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and dine with Minnie and her friends wearing their Halloween best at Minnie’s Halloween Dine at Hollywood & Vine.

Over at Disneyland Resort, guests can enjoy their very own Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure Park. Oogie Boogie Bash is full of interactive treat trails, rare character meetings, and the incredible Frightfully Fun Parade.
One of the great things is that guests don’t need a special event ticket to enjoy the Halloween Screams fireworks spectacular; they can just head right on over to Disneyland Park!
Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland offer a wide variety of specialty food and drinks that guests can enjoy during the Halloween season. Disneyland offers nearly half a dozen different kinds of churros, a monstrously delicious twist on the DOLE Whip, spicy chicken tenders, ube soft serve, and so much more.

In addition to the decorations, limited-time food, and Haunted Mansion Holiday, there is also some must-have merchandise! And this year, one rare piece of merchandise is making its return to Disney California Adventure for the second year in a row.
Unfortunately, it’s going to be VERY hard to get your hands on it, so some planning is needed.
Starting September 5, the Spooky Tree Flight will be returning to Carthay Circle Restaurant!
Last year, the spooky tree featured a red poison apple cup, a yellow poison cup, and a green poison apple cup. This year’s version will only feature green poison apples, but it looks as creepy as ever!
The Spooky Tree Flight will include the Halloween Appletini, which is made with Crown Royal Regal Apple Flavored Whiskey, Apple Pucker Schnapps, and cranberry juice.
Reservations are not required to dine at Carthay Circle, but they are HIGHLY recommended. If you cannot get into the restaurant, you can always try to dine alfresco at the Carthay Circle Lounge and order the drink there. Guests will be limited to two of the Spooky Tree Flights per person, per transaction.
Will you be trying to get your hands on this year’s Spooky Tree Flight this year? Let us know in the comments!
I’d sell a kidney for one of those! Lol
