The “Kingdom Keepers” author is back with a tale full of villainous delight. According to Disney, Cautionary Tales “is no ordinary book … it’s a collection of thrilling and chilling tales featuring the worst Disney villains!” It’s no secret that we live to hate Disney’s dastardly but also often lovable villains, so we’re excited to find out where this story takes us.

No one brings the Disney Parks rides to life quite like Parson, but this new book will have a different twist. Unlike his other books, Cautionary Tale doesn’t take place inside Disney Parks but rather is set directly in the universe of the film’s the characters hail from. This means rather than taking a spin on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland or exploring the kitchens of Fantasyland’s Be Our Guest restaurant, readers will be transported directly to the Cave of Wonders or directly in Belle’s village.  As much as we love exploring Disney Parks through Parson’s pages, we know we will love exploring the worlds of our favorite films with him just as much!

These stories will thrill you and chill you, which is perfect for this frightfully fun time of year! Curious to know more? Check out this video

Cautionary Tales is now available for purchase from Disney Books online and wherever books are sold.  Consider yourself warned, though! You never know what world you might find yourself in next…which just adds to the fun, right?

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
