The anticipation is building as Disney Cruise Line is preparing for Summer 2022 out of Port Canaveral when the maiden voyage of the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet will set sail. That’s right – the Disney Wish! While we can’t get enough of Disney Magic, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wonder, we are very excited about all the new additions Disney Wish has to offer. As if we aren’t excited enough about the dream suiteArendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, or the “never been done before in a restaurant” experience to name a few experiences coming to the Disney Wish, we are also ready to let our inner child out for a little water fun! Forget the shore excursion, Disney is now taking us on a closer look at their first-ever attraction at sea!

When the Disney Cruise Line was first announced a few months ago, Disney shared details about the “AquaMouse” – the first-ever Disney attraction at sea. The Disney ship ride’s original show “Scuba Scramble” — inspired by “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse” animated shorts — will allow Guests to be immersed into a hilarious underwater adventure with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse through show scenes and special effects. Now, Disney has announced that the Disney attraction, AquaMouse, will have not just one, but two brand-new Mickey Mouse’ animated shorts to experience on this wild water ride! Check out the video below:

Disney goes on to share details about the second show called Swiss Meltdown: “Our second show is “Swiss Meltdown,” where Mickey and Minnie will invite you on a mountain sledding excursion that will inevitably (and hilariously) go awry. When the sun comes out and the snow begins to melt, you’ll be off on a frantic dash to the mountaintop while trying to avoid obstacles like avalanches, leaky rock walls, and waterfalls — oh, boy! The story is inspired by one of the Emmy Award-winning “Mickey Mouse” shorts, “Yodelberg,” and composer Christopher Willis adapted his iconic score from the episode for the attraction.”

Try to keep your eyes open while cruising through the AquaMouse as there will be many Disney Cruise ship easter eggs to catch during a ride. You may spot the appearance of the abominable snowman from the Disneyland attraction Matterhorn Bobsleds. Plus, Chip and Dale are hiding in each show, as they hitchhike their way to Disney’s private island of Castaway Cay. You may have to ride the attraction a couple of times to see it all as AquaMouse will have 60-plus water blasters, misters, and pop jets that will keep the fun moving along the way!

Here is a first look at the posters for both excursions on the AquaMouse. These will be showcased in the attraction queue to let our Guests know which adventure is being featured each day of their voyage.
