Sanaa: “Best view at Disney while dining”
We were staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Concierge Service suggested that we try the Sanaa Restaurant during our stay.
My husband thought lunch would be great because you have a view of the Sunset Savanna. We strongly suggest reservations at the restaurant because you will want a sit by the window because during your meal your views are Zebras, Giraffe’s and more! I am sure dinner is great, but I would get there before the sun goes down so you can see the animals.
The Sanna serves African cuisine with Indian flavors. We love curries and spices. We started with the appetizers, “Appetizer Sampler for Two”, which was Potato and Pea Samosas, Pulled Duck with Red Curry Sauce and Roasted Cauliflower. This was a great way to try the Sanaa’s different appetizers.
My husband had the “Grilled Lamb Kefta” and I had the “Tandoori Chicken”. We enjoyed our lunch here. My husband had the Safari beer and I had a glass of wine. For dessert we shared a Chocolate Cake with Raspberry-Mint Sorbet.

I must say this restaurant has the best view during day light. If you love spices and Indian food then this place is for you, but I am sure that if you want something without all the spices that they can probably accommodate you (I would ask when you make reservations). I would like to go again for dinner before sunset. We were not disappointed.
