runDisney Teases “Run”derful News Is Coming

You have our attention runDisney! Ever since COVID hit, runDisney events have been on hold. Well, we shouldn’t say fully on hold. Events were moved into Virtual Runs that could be accomplished right at home, with a medal arriving in the mail. Any runner knows that while virtual runs are still a huge accomplishment, there is just something missing. Running through Walt Disney World parks, seeing characters cheering you on, and giving it all you have with the fun environment and music just can’t be beat! Well, it seems like maybe the excitement will be returning to Disney!

Today, runDisney took to Twitter to post a teaser announcement that has us all on the edge of our seats. There is a brief video clip where you can see the feet of runners and hear cheering in the background. The message says, “Tune-in tomorrow for some “run”derful news!” Check it out below:

So, what does it mean? We are hoping this is a great sign that runDisney will be returning to the parks. What race themes, dates, and experiences can we expect? Well, we’ll just have to wait until tomorrow! We’ll be sure to post information as soon as we learn about the “run”derful news!

About Mike and Jamie Sylvester

We are Disney nerds. Two kids at heart who love the magic and the memories of Walt Disney World! We follow all things Disney and have great experiences with Disney Vacation Club and RunDisney events in particular. We enjoy the vacations, day trips, weekend getaways and geek out over the planning of such events. From lodging to dining to Fastpasses we have a spreadsheet for every occasion. Mike’s frivolous Disney goal is to acquire a magic band of every style while Jamie’s goal is to experience as many Disney desserts as possible. Usually there isn’t a day that passes without some discussion of the master plan of our next trip to the happiest place on earth. Most people think we’re normal – until they travel to Disney with us. We have been married for 15 years and are blessed with a daughter and a son who have already learned the importance of planning ahead! As a family we thoroughly enjoy the magic and the memories at Walt Disney World and are here to help others experience the magic as well.
