Monsters, Siblings, and Sea Quests: Percy Jackson Drops Big News

The world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is expanding in epic ways. At San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Disney+ unveiled major updates about the hit mythology-based series, including a long-awaited premiere date, an exciting first look at Percy’s brother, and the addition of two fan-favorite demigods in the upcoming third season.

First Look at Tyson, Percy’s Cyclops Half-Brother

Fans got their first glimpse of Tyson in an exclusive teaser that debuted during the panel. The beloved cyclops and Percy’s half-brother, portrayed by Daniel Diemer, was revealed in a sneak peek that showed off his kind-hearted personality—and some seriously cool mythological action.

The character will play a pivotal role in The Sea of Monsters, the second installment of the series, helping Percy on his dangerous quest to save Camp Half-Blood.

Season 3 Casts Nico and Bianca di Angelo

In a surprise video message, creator Rick Riordan announced the casting of two beloved characters for Season 3: Nico and Bianca di Angelo, the children of Hades. Levi Chrisopulos will join the cast as Nico, while Olive Abercrombie takes on the role of Bianca in a recurring capacity.

These additions mark a darker turn in the story as the world of Percy Jackson continues to grow more complex.

Season 2 Release Date and Season 3 Renewal

Disney+ officially announced that Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 will premiere on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
