There is nothing more iconic at Walt Disney World Resort than Cinderella Castle.
Guests head to Disney World to immerse themselves in Disney’s wonders and magic. Disney World is home to four theme parks, which include Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each Disney Park includes something for Guests of all ages to experience. Disney’s most famous Park is Magic Kingdom, home to iconic attractions such as Jungle Cruise, “it’s a small world,” Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and many more attractions. Magic Kingdom also is known for Main Street, U.S.A., and of course, Cinderella Castle.
As the centerpiece of the Park, Cinderella Castle serves as the grand entrance and symbolizes the enchantment and magic that Disney is known for.
Inside Cinderella Castle lies a captivating experience known as Cinderella’s Royal Table. This table-service restaurant allows Guests to dine in a regal setting while meeting Disney princesses such as Cinderella herself. The dining experience is fit for royalty, providing an enchanting atmosphere and delectable cuisine. Beyond its remarkable beauty, Cinderella Castle serves as the focal point for several iconic Disney experiences. One of the most anticipated moments in the Magic Kingdom is the nightly fireworks display, “Happily Ever After,” which illuminates the sky behind the castle in a stunning spectacle of lights, music, and storytelling. Additionally, the castle acts as the backdrop for various parades and shows throughout the day, captivating audiences and creating lifelong memories.
Happily Ever After is described this way: “Guests will go on a dazzling journey of color, light and song that captures the heart, humor and heroism of favorite Disney stories. Watch in awe as Cinderella Castle is magically transformed through amazing state-of-the art projection technology you have to see to believe This astounding fireworks extravaganza uses lights, lasers and special effects, plus a soaring score featuring contemporary versions of beloved Disney songs.”
In a social media post, a Disney Guest took a photo of people on top of Cinderella Castle. This Guest wrote that it was 50 minutes before Happily Ever After was set to begin. While we are unsure why they were up there, this is almost certainly a Cast Member who likely was getting ready for the show. Still, it’s a rare sight to see people anywhere on Cinderella Castle. At the end of the show, Tinker Bell will fly down if the weather allows. Tinker Bell may possibly be the highest-paid actor at Disney World due to this “flying” stunt, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
