No Transportation Available for the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Previews

The exclusive Passholder Previews for July 9 and July 10 at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom filled extremely quickly. Capacity was limited for the previews and spots were a first-come, first-served basis. If you were able to get in and receive your email confirmation, you may have missed one important detail… particularly if staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.

On the “Annual Passholder Event Registration Confirmation” email, you may not have noticed the very bottom line under “Important Information About Registration” which states:

“If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, Disney transportation will not be available for this limited event. You will need to provide your own transportation to the Theme Park parking lot.

While this may not be a big deal for regular Annual Passholders rolling into town, this does cause a bit of a hiccup for Disney Resort Guests. For example, we are staying at Disney’s Boardwalk and planned to use Disney’s transportation. Thankfully, we’ll have a car to drive ourselves to the park! For Resort Guests without a car onsite, it looks like it will be a popular Uber day as the Minnie Van Service is currently unavailable.

About Mike and Jamie Sylvester

We are Disney nerds. Two kids at heart who love the magic and the memories of Walt Disney World! We follow all things Disney and have great experiences with Disney Vacation Club and RunDisney events in particular. We enjoy the vacations, day trips, weekend getaways and geek out over the planning of such events. From lodging to dining to Fastpasses we have a spreadsheet for every occasion. Mike’s frivolous Disney goal is to acquire a magic band of every style while Jamie’s goal is to experience as many Disney desserts as possible. Usually there isn’t a day that passes without some discussion of the master plan of our next trip to the happiest place on earth. Most people think we’re normal – until they travel to Disney with us. We have been married for 15 years and are blessed with a daughter and a son who have already learned the importance of planning ahead! As a family we thoroughly enjoy the magic and the memories at Walt Disney World and are here to help others experience the magic as well.
