NEWS: Disneyland Paris to Reclose End of Day Oct. 29 Due To Nationwide Lockdown

Sad news out of France yesterday. The French President Emmanuel Macron announced yesterday, October 28, that there will be a nationwide lockdown beginning Friday, October 30 in France to battle the resurge of COVID-19. Disneyland Paris released an official statement this morning, October 29.

As shared by Disneyland Paris on Twitter: “In line with latest direction from the French authorities, Disneyland Paris will be closing end of day on October 29th. If you have a booking with us during the above-mentioned periods, please check our website for our latest commercial conditions.”

Found on the Disneyland Paris website: “In line with latest direction from the French authorities, Disneyland Paris will be closing end of day on October 29th. In anticipation of celebrating the Christmas holiday season we will be taking reservations from December 19 – January 3 and hope to be open based on prevailing conditions and government guidance at that time. Disneyland Paris will be closed from January 4 through February 12. Please check back on the website for regular updates. The French lockdown will last a month with a reevaluation every two weeks as France attempts to battle the resurge of COVID-19 cases in the area. Our thoughts and prayers are with those battling COVID.
