The holiday season has started at Walt Disney World. Decorations have appeared, and the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will occur this week. As part of the holiday celebration, guests will enjoy a new show called “Frozen Holiday Surprise.”
Although we knew the new show was coming this holiday season, Disney released additional information, including showtimes for Magic Kingdom.
Frozen Holiday Surprise
During the new show, guests can see Olaf and more than 100 of his Snowgie siblings. Together, they will decorate Cinderella Castle with holiday magic.
Along with Olaf, guests will also be able to see Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff in new holiday looks. Each will bring something special to their royal holiday gathering.

Elsa will wrap up the festivities by adding a sparkling finish as she transforms Cinderella Castle into a shimmering crystallized palace. This magical transformation, we assume, will be inspired by Elsa’s Ice Palace on the North Mountain.
Once the transformation takes place, it will remain throughout the evening.
Times Announced
For those heading down to Magic Kingdom this holiday season, they will have numerous times to enjoy this new Frozen Holiday Surprise.
Starting November 7th at Magic Kingdom, Frozen Holiday Surprise will occur each evening. When Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the show will take place twice an evening.
The show will occur at 6:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Christmas Party nights. This is excellent news for those not purchasing a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Even those who don’t have a particular party ticket can enjoy the new show at 6:15 p.m., as this is before they are required to exit Magic Kingdom for the evening.
On non-party evenings, there will be one show taking place at 6:15 p.m. Frozen Holiday Surprise is scheduled to take place each evening throughout the holiday season.
If you want to enjoy the show, you will want to get a spot in front of Cinderella Castle early. The show only lasts seven minutes, so if you are late, you will miss out.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
For guests wanting to add extra holiday magic to their Walt Disney World vacation, they can choose to purchase tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This is a special ticketed event that takes place on select evenings in the Magic Kingdom, starting November 9 to December 22, 2023.
During the party, guests will not only be able to enjoy a special showing of the new Frozen Holiday Surprise, but they will also be able to enjoy numerous other holiday events.
The party’s highlights include a special firework show called Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Guests can enjoy rides, stage shows, dance parties, and cookies throughout Magic Kingdom.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a fantastic way to celebrate the holiday season, and we are thrilled for the new Frozen Holiday Surprise this year as well.
