‘Frozen 3’ Confirmed by Disney
Since the release of Frozen (2013), this franchise has captured the hearts of fans worldwide. During a recent session at the London Film Festival, the Chief Creative Officer at Walt Disney Animation Studios, Jennifer Lee, confirmed that work on “Frozen 3” has begun.
“Frozen 3” Confirmed
Jennifer Lee was the writer and director of the first two Frozen films. Although she didn’t release any specific details about the third film, she did confirm that progress is being made, and she is “blown away” by what she has seen from the studio already.
“All I’ll say is that last week, they carved out time for me to work with the creative team on it. And I’m blown away,” Lee said. “I’m so excited. I don’t know what I’m doing on it yet. I might be doing nothing.”
Even though we aren’t sure what Jennifer Lee’s role will be in the new film as she is now the Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation, we are thrilled that she has confirmed that we can now officially look forward to more magic featuring our favorite sister duo.
Voice of Elsa, Idina Menzel also confirmed her return previously when she chatted with Billboard.
“I don’t know a lot,” she said at the time. “To be completely honest, they teased it to us, and I have no idea. They don’t show you a script. They don’t show you anything.
“All I know is, yeah we are gonna make one, and that’s it. So, I’m like, ‘Cool! I will be able to pay my bills’.”

Moving forward, we hope that beloved voices such as Josh Gad and Kristen Bell will also be back. We look forward to hearing more about this new film in the future and can’t wait to see what magic Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Sven, and Kristof get into moving forward.
Frozen In the Disney Parks
Frozen fans are also anxiously awaiting the new Frozen-themed land coming to Disneyland Paris. This expansion is added to Walt Disney Studios Park and will feature Elsa’s Ice Palace on top of a snow-covered mountain.
Guests can enjoy the Arendelle village, featuring Norweigain-style architecture full of shops and dining experiences. Also found in this new land will be a meet and greet area that will be the perfect spot to find the beloved characters from the movie.
Disneyland Paris isn’t the only international park to see some Frozen magic. Hong Kong Disneyland will see a new “World of Frozen”. The story of this land will focus on the kingdom of Arendelle celebrating a Summer Snow Day.
We love seeing the Frozen story continue to be featured throughout the Disney Company. We can’t wait to see what the third film has for our beloved characters.

Although Lee didn’t give away any specific details during your keynote, she did promise that guests can expect Frozen 3 to be just as magical.
“Our philosophy is this, and it won’t change: If there is more story to tell, the filmmakers must drive it. And I’ll say with Frozen, Marc Smith, our director of story on Frozen 2, came with an incredible idea for more Frozen, and it’s worth it.”
We are thrilled that “Frozen 3″ is moving forward!
