When it comes to the changing of seasons, Disneyland Resort loves to introduce a number of new and tasty dishes, even if the seasons don’t change all that much in sunny and warm California. In the past, there have been new churros — which have a cult following at The Happiest Place on Earth — for times like Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and Christmas, special dishes for Lunar New Year, and fun foods to celebrate events like Pixar Fest. And now Disney is introducing a new fritter that is sure to tantalize the taste buds of a number of Guests.

Instagrammer Fresh Baked Disney (@_freshbaked) recently visited Disneyland Park, saw the new fritters being advertised, and just had to get them. According to the sign, the fritters are Bacon Cheddar Jalapeño fritters that are served with a side of cheese sauce. Guests can purchase the fritters, which come three to a serving, for $5.99 at the Royal Street Veranda in New Orleans Square.

The Royal Street Veranda is an incredibly popular spot for Guests who would like to stop for a quick, delicious bite during their long day in the Park. Here is more information on the New Orleans Square eatery — which is on the side of the building that holds the Pirates of the Caribbean ride:

You’ve got it made in the shade with a scrumptious sourdough bowl of clam chowder, steak gumbo or vegetarian gumbo. Sit on the patio under a beautiful wrought-iron balcony and enjoy fritters and fountain beverages.

In addition to serving these new Bacon Cheddar Jalapeño fritters, Guests can also get hearty soup served in a homemade bread bowl. Guests can choose between Clam Chowder, Beef Stew, or the vegetarian option, Vegetable Gumbo. While the vegetable gumbo says it is a vegetarian option, those who are eating a vegan diet can also indulge since it is completely vegan.

Depending on the time that you dine at Royal Street Veranda, you may even be able to say hi to characters like Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog and Captain Jack Sparrow while you munch on your delectable treats.
