Popcorn buckets are one of the newest trends that collectors are after in theme parks. Disney Parks and Universal Studios are always competing for Guests’ attention and actively stepping up the level of their popcorn buckets. Universal Orlando Resort, however, may have made the popcorn bucket to trump all popcorn buckets.
Feast your eyes on this guy:
Have you seen anything cuter? Fans who don’t even collect popcorn buckets want to get their hands on this. Some previous Universal popcorn bucket designs include various yellow Minions from Despicable Me (2010) and a Jurassic World (2015) raptor egg.
If you love the cuteness but don’t recognize the character, think of DreamWorks‘ How to Train Your Dragon (2010). There are also multiple sequels: How to Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019). The popcorn bucket is designed after the main dragon character Toothless, who helps teach a community of humans that they can live in harmony with dragons.
Toothless is already pretty cute in the film, so this popcorn bucket really goes the extra mile. His head is so large, you know, to hold the popcorn, and his eyes make my heart melt! The bucket may look like a baby version of Toothless, but it features the red mechanism Hiccup built for Toothless’ injured tail to help him fly.
There’s a wind-up knob between the scales on his back that make his little wings flap. His ears are designed on hinges, so they can sit at different angles, making a variety of cute expressions.
AND Toothless lights up! When you press one of the spikes on his head, his big green eyes glow. A popcorn bucket truly for all times of the day. Thank goodness for the satchel strap because I would be devastated to lose him.

Toothless is considered a “Night Fury” species or dragon, and fans would love to have a “Light Fury” bucket design to make a collectible pair. Do you think Universal will introduce her soon?
Toothless was previously seen in Universal Studios Bejing, but right now you can grab this guy at Universal Studios Florida for about $30!
