NEW: Disney World Announces Updates for Annual Passholder Entry

Good news for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders—more “Good-to-Go” days have been added for early 2025! Disney has announced that passholders can enjoy visiting the parks without needing a reservation on January 22, 23, 28, and February 4 and 5. This perk, introduced in 2024, aims to provide more flexibility for passholders who prefer spontaneous trips.

Since Disney implemented the park reservation system in 2020, planning a visit has required more effort, often limiting the freedom passholders once enjoyed. The introduction of “Good-to-Go” days has been a welcome change, offering select dates where reservations aren’t needed, making it easier to pop in for a quick visit or a last-minute trip with friends and family.

In addition to these reservation-free days, Disney passholders enjoy a variety of perks that make their membership worthwhile. Discounts on merchandise, dining, and special events are among the top benefits, allowing passholders to save money on their favorite Disney experiences. They also receive free standard parking, which is a major plus considering how pricey parking can be.

One of the most beloved perks is the exclusive passholder magnets, which have become highly sought-after collectibles. Disney frequently releases themed designs that reflect new attractions, seasonal celebrations, or beloved characters. It’s always exciting to see what design will be next!

Passholders also get exclusive previews of upcoming attractions and events. Whether it’s a sneak peek at a new ride or early access to a seasonal festival, having a pass means staying ahead of the curve when it comes to Disney experiences.

While the added “Good-to-Go” days are a step in the right direction, some passholders feel that the current reservation system still limits their visits. Many are hoping for even more no-reservation days in the future, giving them the freedom they once enjoyed pre-2020.

For those considering an annual pass, there are different tiers to choose from, offering varying levels of access and blackout dates. Whether you’re a local looking for regular visits or an out-of-state guest planning multiple trips a year, there’s an option to fit your needs.
