New Disney+ Voices Video Released: The Importance of Representation

In a new video from the Voices online series, an important conversation between High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ actress Dara Reneé and Secrets of Sulphur Springs’ actress Kyliegh Curran takes place.

In this new video titled, “The Importance of Representation” the two young women discussed how they made themselves heard while navigating the entertainment industry through the lens of the Black experience.

About Jennifer Retzlaff

My name is Jennifer Retzlaff and I became a lifelong Disney fan during my first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of my life. I live in Iowa with my husband and two kids who are growing up too quickly for my liking.
