There are a lot of people who think that the best vacation ever is one that involves visiting a Disney Park. A lot of those people will buy Annual Passes to their favorite Resort — whether it’s Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, or one of Disney’s European or Asian Parks. There are also those people who want to travel the world but not lose the Disney magic. For those Disney fans, there is the Disney Vacation Club.
The Disney Vacation Club not only gives members the chance to travel all over the world and see incredible sites, but also gives some great discounts on things like trips to Disney Resorts, discounts on dining at Disney Resorts, and discounts on tickets to special hard-ticketed events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. And now, Disney Vacation Club members will be getting their very own exclusive area at the Disneyland Resort.
Disney Parks Blog first shared the news that Disney Vacation Club members would be getting their very own lounge, called the “Star View Station” — which will be located in the heart of Tomorrowland:
Anticipated to open in the first half of 2023, the new lounge will be located in the heart of Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, in the space on the second floor of the Star Wars: Launch Bay building. The sleekly designed “space” will be home to a dedicated Disney Vacation Club Member Services team, as well as plenty of casual seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, device-charging stations and more.
The new lounge will be open daily during scheduled hours to eligible* Disney Vacation Club Members with valid park tickets and reservations to Disneyland Park.
This is not the only new area that has been designed specifically for Disney Vacation Club members. Recently, at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney opened A Villains Lair at the Top of the World Lounge in the Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. A Villains Lair offers DVC members enchanting cocktails and “fiendish fare”, while they relax in a member lounge that gives them a beautiful view of Seven Seas Lagoon and Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park. DVC members in Villains Lair also have an exclusive area to watch the nighttime fireworks as they shoot off over Cinderella Castle.
