Villians of the world rejoice! There’s a new lounge coming to Walt Disney World next week and it’s absolutely…wicked! Beginning on July 11, the Contemporary Resort’s Top of the World Lounge will reopen to eligible Disney Vacation Club members as Top of the World- Villain’s Lair with a brand new menu and a new theme to go with the new name!

This lounge wasn’t always so wicked. According to Disney, it seems as though the villains moved in when Top of World Lounge closed its doors in 2020. From the looks of things, they got pretty comfortable here too! You’ll find items of clothing, confounding concoctions, and devilish artwork scattered around the lounge suggesting the villains left in a hurry (our guess is they left when the fireworks returned. Everyone knows an evil-doer wouldn’t be able to stand the hopeful theme music of Disney Enchantment that gets piped in!)

Their loss is your gain! Disney Cast members have decided to embrace the devilish digs and invite villains of all varieties to kick back. After all, it’s tiring to be terrifying! In this exclusive new lounge you’ll unwind in a decadent den of Disney’s most dastardly! High atop the world, you’ll be able to kick back, drink in hand, and swap evil schemes with fellow villains. This well deserved break from evil-doing even comes with a spectacular view of the Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks, for those villains who can stand the cheer, that is.

With a menu fit for villains of even the most discerning taste, your only problem will be finding room in your stomach for it all! Here you’ll find a delicious assortment of cocktails, wines, beers and appetizers including the new Seven-Lair Cake, Unfortunate Souls Shrimp, Lair-Made Hummus, Who’s Afraid of Pork Belly Sliders and more!

The Lair will be open to eligible DVC members from 6:00 pm-midnight and is subject to capacity and blackout dates. Check here for eligibility requirements.

About Jill Bivins

Jill Bivins has been visiting Disney Parks since she was 2 years old and loves sharing her Disney adventures with the world. She likes to say Disney is in her blood and writing is in her bones — so any time she has the opportunity to combine these loves she is one happy camper! She has a deep abiding love for Epcot and as a die hard Star Wars fan has a serious love for Hollywood Studios as well. When she isn't exploring or writing about Disney Parks, Jill is homeschooling her 8 year old son, playing with her brand new baby son, or pretending to be a farmer on her family homestead (despite being unable to keep even a cactus alive).
