Model of Halcyon Starcruiser Now On Display at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

While the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World has delayed opening until 2022, we are thinking the “all-immersive, two-night vacation experience that goes beyond anything Disney has ever created before” is going to be well worth the wait! And while we wait, Disney has now announced that for a limited time, we can check out the model of the Halcyon Starcruiser at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

As shared by Disney: “For a limited time, Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests can now see a model of the ship on display inside Walt Disney Presents.”

To put the Halcyon ship into context, what we know so far is that when guests arrive at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser they will enter the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser terminal. Once all of the fellow passengers have come together, they will be ready to be sent off via a special Launch Pod where they will enter a hyperspace jump to reach their intergalactic destination… the Halcyon. While you’re in your Launch Pod, guests will get to watch through viewports as they approach Halcyon starcruiser, which is home for the next two nights. While of course, you’re never actually leaving Walt Disney World through this process, the immersive Star Wars storytelling will make the experience feel as real as possible!

Drop by and see the model in Walt Disney Presents, which is located just before entering Toy Story Land and behind Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
