Authorities are asking for help in identifying a Disney Cast Member who disappeared Friday morning. Constance Lynn Campbell, 65 years old, is a Cast Member at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Relatives say she was on her way to work the last time they saw her.
Campbell is believed to be “missing-endangered” according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office. To be considered “missing- endangered” there must be probable cause to believe a missing person is in a significant amount of danger and in need of “immediate assistance to return to safety.” This classification can apply to anything from kidnapping to runaways, to an alzhiemers or dementia patient who may have wandered off and forgotten how to get home. Reports state that the Sheriff’s Office did not elaborate on why they believe Campbell may be endangered. According to CHP.Gov, “An Endangered Missing Advisory (EMA) is a tool available to law enforcement agencies investigating the suspicious disappearance of at-risk missing children or other endangered persons. EMAs provide immediate information to the public to aid in the swift recovery of at-risk persons.”
Campbell was last seen driving a blue 2019 Honda Civic with a Disney World 50th anniversary specialty plate and Florida tag VC5MG. She is described as having light, Caucasian skin, brown hair and eyes, is about 5′3″ tall and weighs about 215 lbs.
Authorities believe she may have been in a Rodeway Inn in Kissimmee. The particular motel in question has been known to have its share of problems. Having stayed there myself once, I personally witnessed warning signs about being on the lookout for suspicious or criminal activity. No information has been given about whether Campbelis believed to be alone or traveling with someone.
