Miley Cyrus Blames ‘Hannah Montana’ Co-Star for Shocking Drug Revelation
As one of the most famous Disney Channel stars of the 2000s, Miley Cyrus has had her fair share of ups and downs in the public eye. From her breakout role as Hannah Montana to her controversial transition into pop music, Miley’s career has been anything but conventional.
In a recent conversation on her mom and sister’s podcast, Sorry We’re Cyrus with Tish & Brandi, Miley opened up about her time on the beloved Disney Channel series, sharing some behind-the-scenes details that have left fans and critics buzzing.

The revelation comes after years of speculation about what went on behind the cameras during the filming of the show. While Hannah Montana was beloved by millions, Miley’s stories shed a different light on the experience.
During the podcast, Miley reminisced about the early days of her career and her relationship with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus. But it was the shocking details she shared about the set that caught everyone’s attention.
Miley’s most surprising claim was about the presence of drugs on the set.

Her mother, Tish, recalled some of the moments when Miley’s father, Billy Ray, was caught up in the controversy. Miley shared a particularly surprising account, stating that her father would smoke pot on set and then accuse her of doing it.
Miley’s mom, Tish, who was also part of the conversation, backed up her daughter’s account, explaining that she never believed the accusations against her husband at the time.
But the story didn’t end there. Miley went further to suggest that her co-star, Mitchel Musso, was involved in drug use while filming Hannah Montana. Musso, who portrayed Miley’s best friend, Oliver Oken, was one of the few people who knew the secret of Miley/Hannah’s double life.

According to Miley, Musso was the person responsible for the drugs on set, a claim that has left fans divided.
However, Musso didn’t take these accusations lying down. Shortly after Miley’s comments went viral, he issued a statement through E! News denying the allegations. In his response, Musso didn’t specifically deny the presence of drugs on set, but he was adamant that he wasn’t the one partaking.
“Well, that’s not how I remember it. However, I’ve got plenty of stories from those years that might be worth having a conversation about. If we’re revisiting Hannah Montana history — just say the word. All love to Miley and the fam, even when the rewrites get this creative.”
Despite these revelations, it seems the long-standing tension between Miley and her family members is beginning to ease. Miley and her father, Billy Ray, have had a tumultuous relationship over the years, especially after their public fallout and the release of a damning recording in which Billy Ray referred to Miley as a “devil” and a “skank.”
At the time, it was reported that the father-daughter duo was estranged, but in a surprising twist, Miley recently revealed that their relationship has since improved.
During an interview about their relationship, Miley confirmed that she and her father were no longer estranged. When asked if they were on speaking terms, Miley gave a simple, “No,” referencing their previous conflicts. However, in a more recent conversation, she acknowledged that their relationship had mended.
While Miley’s relationship with her father may be on the mend, the drama surrounding her Hannah Montana days still seems to be a source of lingering tension. The stars from the show are still part of pop culture, and many fans continue to look back on the show with fond memories. However, Miley’s candid revelations may change the way some viewers look at the Hannah Montana legacy.
Miley has certainly sparked conversation with her revelations, and many are now looking back at the show with new eyes. The dynamic between the cast, the issues of addiction, and the behind-the-scenes drama all paint a picture of a very different Hannah Montana than fans may have imagined.
For those who grew up watching the show, it might be hard to reconcile the fun, lighthearted image of the show with the more complicated, and at times darker, reality that Miley and her family are now revealing.

I think like a lot of child stars, acknowledge Cyrus got hooked up into pot smoking and probably a little other trying of stuff, and I think she liked it, and I think that she wanted to grow up faster than she did, and if it’s are available to you. I think that’s what got it on the ball? It may be eligible for a special and got her having plenty of sex. I find Disney at that time was no different in big studios. Get them hooked and fish them on in. I think parents are a lot to blame. Just like the studios like Bob iger he probably tried to get what he could get out of her under his desk .
It’s hard to say when Judy Garland just looked at her, that happened in her life and other actresses during those times what the studios did to them gave them upper. S so they could work all day, you gave him down her, so he’d go to sleep. So it’s just kind of hard to say. It’s a bad thing for your child to be put in that position.
