When it comes to streaming options on Disney+, there are a number of hit shows that you can only find there. A lot of those shows are a part of the growing Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel not only has some of the biggest names in entertainment acting in its streaming shows and movies, but it can also take lesser-known actors and shoot them to superstardom. Marvel fans have a ton of great streaming options, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, WandaVision, and Moon Knight.

One of the newest Marvel shows features the MCU’s first Pakistani superhero, who also happens to be a teenage girl. Ms. Marvel was released this past June and quickly shot to the top of the streaming charts. People loved the diverse cast, great acting, and exciting storyline. Ms. Marvel currently has a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Sadly, we are learning that one of the actors in Ms. Marvel is being accused of some very heinous crimes.

Mohan Kapur is a well-known actor in the Asian-Pacific community, who has been in the business for more than 30 years. In Ms. Marvel, Kapur plays Yusuf Khan, Kamala Khan’s (AKA Ms. Marvel) father.
In late November, Twitter user Shania (@Nayaaax3) shared that she became friends with the actor when he became friends with Kapur’s girlfriend. Shania says that she was just 14 when she met them, and they quickly became like second parents to her.
When I was 14 years old, I was a fan of this serial actress & we became friends. Her partner at that time @mohankapur also became friends with me. I respected both of them almost like 2nd parents, & told them about my stressful life. But @mohankapur took advantage of me.

Shania said that she turned 15 during her friendship with the couple. It was after she turned 15 that she alleges Kapur sent her sexually explicit photographs, which he apologized for, claiming he was depressed.
We constantly talked until I notice he started flirting with me. Then when I was 15 years old @mohankapur sent his d**k pics to me. He was apologizing nonstop & was depressed…. I forgave him. But after that he continued to harass me….

The woman continues, saying that Kapur would tell her that he wanted to marry her. She said that, at that time, she didn’t fully understand what was happening. However, she now knows that Kapur was grooming her.
Said things like how he was in love with me, wanted to marry me, wanting me to grow up to be with him, and can’t wait for me to get older so I can sleep with him. Now I know that @mohankapur was grooming me.
His parter (now ex) knew the type of man he was…. She was aware that he was talking to me. When I met her in person, I told her everything that was happening. A year later I stopped talking to her after she started gaslighting me. I was so depressed about this situation….

Shania says that the two — Kapur and his girlfriend — kept telling her that it was her fault and she became incredibly depressed. She said that she repeatedly tried to reach out to Kapur, who told her that he couldn’t trust her anymore. He then said that the only way he would be able to trust her was if she video-chatted with him and sent her nude photographs.

The last time I talked to @mohankapur was 2020 and I was crying… I said I really can’t take any of this anymore…. Hoping that he would apologize and understand the trauma he had cause. Instead, he told me that he can’t trust me and the only way he can trust me again is if….

Shania then shared alleged text messages between her and Kapur, which were shared by The Direct:
“@mohankapur When I stand up for myself… you gaslight me and blame me for “misconstruing chat” and your reason for asking for my nudes was that you can prove your innocence???!! Does that even make any sense MOHAN??”
@Nayaaaax3: “Why did you ask me to send you nudes”
Kapur: “To keep as proof your intentions. You have misconstrued our conversations to make it sound that I was sexually harassing you. I have all the stuff myself too. I don’t say things cause that’s not what friends do. And I won’t either“

Not long after the tweets started to gain traction, both Shania and Kapur set their Twitter pages to private. However, the tweets were captured and archived before the settings were changed. Neither Kapur nor Disney has responded to the allegations.
A second season of Ms. Marvel has been confirmed by Disney and, at this time, Mohan Kapur is set to return as Yusuf Khan. Ms. Marvel also stars Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, Matt Lintz as Bruno, Zenobia Shroff as Muneeba, Yasmeen Fletcher as Nakia, and Rish Shah as Kamran.
