A new update to the My Disney Experience App now shows a new button when pressing the “+” option at the bottom of the app’s landing page. The app now has “Make a Park Reservation” which could only mean Disney is working on making this process a little easier. Unfortunately, the new button doesn’t have app functionality at the present time.

When you select “Make a Park Reservation” you’ll be sent to the Walt Disney World website to make a reservation from there. We do anticipate however with this option recently added, it likely means in the near future we’ll be able to make a park reservation right from the app.
We’ll see where this goes from here and keep you posted as we learn more!
