Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise – Magic Kingdom Has It All!
Aptly named, Magic Kingdom is home to only the most classic and quintessential Disney rides. Attractions and experiences such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, “it’s a small world,” Pirates of the Caribbean, and, until recently, Splash Mountain all called the Disney park home.
The theme park is made up of six different neighborhoods: Main Street, U.S.A., Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Adventureland, Frontierland, and Liberty Square.

Liberty Square Takes Us All Back to the Very Beginning
Liberty Square, decorated to look like Colonial America, is home to one of the most iconic attractions in the world: the Haunted Mansion.
In fact, the Haunted Mansion is so beloved that it often overshadows another attraction located in this area of Magic Kingdom. We’re talking, of course, about the Liberty Square Riverboat.
The Liberty Square Riverboat, named the Liberty Belle, takes guests on a journey into the American frontier on an authentic, steam-powered paddle-wheeler.

Have You Ever Ridden on the Liberty Belle?
The attraction is 17 minutes long, making it one of the longest attractions in the Disney park. On this tour, guests get to see some of the sights “from the early days of the American frontier,” according to Walt Disney World’s official website.
Guests will also get to see “unique views of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Haunted Mansion” while aboard the Liberty Belle.

Liberty Square Riverboat to Close…
However, at the time of this article’s publication, the Liberty Square Riverboat has already closed for routine maintenance.
Don’t fret, though, because the Liberty Belle will be up and running again on August 30! Soon enough, guests will be able to experience the views of the American frontier on this authentic paddle-wheeler again.
