Magic Kingdom Has Already Sold Out 2 Halloween Party Nights Before August

Disney fans planning to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may want to make their decision sooner than expected. Another event night has already reached capacity, and the latest sellout suggests that demand for one of Walt Disney World’s biggest seasonal events is picking up well before Halloween arrives.

After Halloween night became the first party to sell out, Disney has now confirmed that August 14 is also completely booked. While October 31 disappearing first wasn’t much of a surprise, August 14 tells a different story. It’s one of the least expensive nights on the calendar, making it especially attractive for guests looking to experience the event without paying October prices.

That leaves August 11 as the final party date available at the lowest advertised ticket price of $119. Once that date is gone, guests hoping to save money will likely need to pay more as prices steadily increase throughout the season.

The pricing structure has become a major factor for many families. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offers the same signature entertainment throughout the season, including exclusive fireworks, the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, character meet-and-greets, trick-or-treat trails, and themed entertainment. Because the experience remains largely consistent, many visitors choose the cheaper August dates instead of waiting until late October.

For families purchasing multiple tickets, the savings can be significant. A difference of more than $100 per ticket between the least and most expensive dates quickly adds up, making those early parties some of the best values Disney offers during the Halloween season.

The second sellout also reflects how much earlier guests are planning their Disney vacations. Limited-capacity events have become increasingly popular, and experienced visitors often purchase party tickets shortly after they become available rather than risking their preferred date selling out.

Disney has already confirmed that several returning entertainment offerings will once again be part of this year’s celebration, giving fans even more incentive to secure tickets early.

Last year’s event eventually sold out completely before Halloween arrived, and this year’s early demand could be another sign that history may repeat itself.

For anyone still deciding whether to attend, August 14 disappearing from the calendar serves as another reminder that waiting too long may limit your choices. Even if your vacation plans aren’t completely finalized, securing party admission early could make the difference between getting your preferred date and settling for whatever remains available.
