Disney Confirms Reimagining of Theme Park Versions of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Coming in August
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are about to look very different when guests line up to meet them at Disneyland Park this fall. Here’s what families need to know before heading to the Southern California Disney parks later this year.
New Looks Revealed for Halloween Season

Disneyland Resort unveiled concept art for brand-new Halloween outfits for Mickey and Minnie Mouse on June 2 as part of its broader fall season announcement. Theme park journalist Scott Gustin shared the first look on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The designs draw on harlequin aesthetics, pairing orange-and-black color palettes with deliberately mismatched patterns across both costumes. Mickey Mouse arrives in a diamond-patterned top hat, an asymmetrical patterned vest, and fingerless orange gloves worn over his classic white ones. Minnie Mouse wears a puff sleeve dress with mismatched patterned tights and Halloween-themed bow details.
When and Where To Find Them

Mickey Mouse and friends will debut their Halloween looks in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland Park when Halloween Time officially begins on August 21, 2026. Mickey and Minnie won’t be the only ones dressed for the occasion; Pluto, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck are also expected to unveil matching Halloween outfits this season. However, Disneyland Resort hasn’t released concept art for those looks yet.
Halloweentime Begins on August 21
Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort runs August 21 through October 31, 2026. The separately ticketed Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure Park launches a few days earlier on August 18, with tickets going on sale June 18 and a D23 Member-exclusive event set for September 27.

Plaza de la Familia — the Día de los Muertos and Coco (2017)-inspired experience at Disney California Adventure Park — also begins August 21 and continues through November 2.
