Disney World Slams Door on Halloween Party Ticket Sales for Most Guests

Walt Disney World Resort has announced changes to how tickets for the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be sold this year. Starting in August 2025, the popular after-hours event will again be held on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park.

The price of tickets for this year’s Halloween Party ranges from $119 to $229, which marks an increase of up to $30 compared to last year. There’s some good news for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members, who will receive a $10 discount on tickets for select nights in August and September.

As usual, ticketholders can enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m., three hours before Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially starts. Returning highlights include the return of the Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade, trick-or-treating throughout the park, rare character meet-and-greets, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular, and Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks.

This year, Disney Park guests can also expect a new version of Jack Skellington, the chance to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse together at the Town Square Theater, and appearances from additional rare characters like Pain & Panic from Hercules (1997) in Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade. A new dance party inspired by the Zombies (2018) franchise is also being added to the event lineup.

Disney Resort hotel guests will be given early access to Halloween Party tickets starting May 15, 2025. However, the general public will have to wait until May 22 to purchase tickets. This gives Disney Resort hotel guests a head start in securing their tickets for the event.

Additionally, D23 fan club members will be able to purchase tickets for the August 29 date, which falls during Destination D23 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. These tickets will go on sale at noon EST on May 22. As theme park journalist @ScottGustin posted on X (formerly known as Twitter):

D23 announces Destination D23 members will have a special opportunity to purchase MNSSHP tickets starting May 22.

It’s unclear whether this early access will begin before the general public ticket sale on the same day.
