If you love to use your phone while visiting the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, you need this charging hack!
First opened in 2013 as part of the New Fantasyland expansion, the Tangled bathrooms have become an iconic pilgrimage site for fans of the 2010 fairytale film starring Mandy Moore as Princess Rapunzel and Zachary Levi as ruffian Flynn Rider/Eugune Fitzherbet. In fact, the site offers not only picturesque views of a Kingdom of Corona village with signature royal artwork from the Lost Princess herself and a secret charging station that’s perfect for all your devices!

Of course, as most Guests love to use their mobile devices for selfies, Snapchat, Instagram story updates, or making reservations and checking wait times via the My Disney Experience app, phone batteries can quickly drain! Luckily, this charging hack can save you the next time you’re in a pinch and need to boost your battery.
Having realized that Guests now depend on their phones for many activities, such as theme park maps, storing virtual admission, and using features like mobile order, Disney Parks adapted to include charging stations and FuelRod locations across all four parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. For example, FuelRod kiosks at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios provide portable phone battery chargers for purchase, with unlimited exchanges once it’s no longer fully charged for free.

Furthermore, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park has outlets Guests can stop and use at some of its restaurants like the Nomad Lounge. But what about the Magic Kingdom?
Well, in addition to the sight of Rapunzel’s tower above a gorgeous waterfall, the restrooms near the Haunted Mansion also offer the Park’s first D-Zone charging station, which has six different places to plug in. Moreover, each one includes two regular outlets and even more USB ports which Guests can use with just their charging cord, all at no extra cost!
