Is Rocket Dying in the New Guardians of the Galaxy Movie?!
Rocket fans, you might want to sit down for this one.
All over social media, Marvel fans are freaking out over the new promotional photos for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. The movie, which will release on May 5, is highly anticipated by fans of the series. While many fans are thrilled over the new trailer and promo photos, some are beginning to freak out over some dark foreshadowing in the pictures.
Whatever You Do, Spare Rocket!
One of the main reasons that fans love the Guardians of the Galaxy movies is because of the amazing cast of characters. This includes Peter Quill played by Chris Pratt, Gamora played by Zoe Saldana, Drax the Destroyer played by Dave Bautista; and Groot played by Vin Diesel. Fans love this cast of characters. Probably the most popular character for fans in Rocket, played by Bradley Cooper. Rocket is hilarious, sarcastic, and totally iconic.
This is why fans were quick to notice that he was getting some extra special treatment in the new poster for Guardians Vol 3. While some Rocket fans are happy to see him getting extra attention, many worry that this could be a clear sign of something worse. Marvel is no stranger to brutal and shocking character deaths, and fans are terrified that this could be the case for Rocket.

Disney TikToker @themagicalmillennial_ went as far as to beg Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, to spare Rocket. This TikToker is not alone: all over Twitter fans are freaking out about the promotional photos. To be honest, their worries are valid. One poster shows Rocket stepping forward while the rest of the cast states behind. Another shows the reflection of the cast in Rocket’s eye. This evidence does not look great for Rocket.
However, the synopsis of the film does say that the Guardians of the Galaxy will be on a mission to save Rocket’s life… so perhaps this is all just a misunderstanding.
