Every year, millions of fans flock to the theatrical hot spots around the world to take in Broadway-style entertainment. Mastering the art of singing and acting is something that many of the world’s most esteemed actors have accomplished, including film legend Johnny Depp.

Numerous Johnny Depp Films Receive the Musical Treatment

Johnny Depp is known to have some serious vocal skills himself. Alongside playing in his band Hollywood Vampires, Depp has also lent his voice to films such as Sweeney Todd. Depp’s versatility is one of the many reasons why fans love him on and off-screen.

Earlier this year, it was announced that one of Depp’s iconic roles was going to be revived in a new, musical way. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) was a hit film starring Depp as Willy Wonka himself. Now, the story of the mad chocolatier will be getting a musical prequel starring Timothée Chalamet as Wonka.

However, that is not the only Johnny Depp film to be getting a musical revival. Another film is also being performed as a musical in Hollywood this fall.

Fans have been begging for Disney to create the final film of the franchise. Who knows? Perhaps that film could be created as a musical!

Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are known to host numerous musical productions on the property. This could be the perfect place to introduce a Pirates of the Caribbean section. Disney also has turned many of their beloved franchises into Broadway musicals playing in New York City and around the world. Perhaps this could be the next step in Captain Jack Sparrow’s story.
