Hollywood Stargirl is going to follow Stargirl’s journey out of Mica, Arizona as she travels into to the bigger world of music, dreams and possibility. Based on social media posts by both the director, Julia Hart, as well as producer, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, the film in now in production.

Grace VanderWaal is returning as Stargirl with Elijah Richardson playing Evan the romantic lead opposite VanderWaal. Jerry Spinelli’s bestselling book is the focus of the script and the original character.

We were also given a sneak look at the logo in on of the social media posts as well. Casting for the series includes Judd Hirsch, Tyrel Jackson Willaims, Judy Greer and Uma Thurman.
The first “Stargirl” film can be found on Disney+.
