Hallmark is known for many things, but for Disney fans, they’re most noted for their Christmas ornaments. Hallmark sells a massive array of keepsake ornaments that are dedicated to eternalizing some of films’ greatest moments. Star Wars is no exception.Ā

Over the years, Hallmark has released many Star Wars-themed keepsake ornaments. From tie-fighters to wookies, collectors can find almost anything they want to hang on their Christmas trees. Some of our favorite Hallmark Star Wars ornaments from last year include theĀ Luke Skywalker and Wampa Sketchbook OrnamentĀ and theĀ Star Wars Darth Vader Chamber Water Globe With Light and Sound ornament.

Another holiday season brings new sets of Disney and Star Wars Hallmark ornaments. Although there are many options to choose from, one ornament is starting to make its way around the internet. Not just because it highlights one of Star Wars’ most significant moments but because it’s much more than an ornament. The newĀ Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Into the Carbon-Freezing Chamber Ornament With Light, Sound, and Motion from Hallmark plays out the entire scene from the film! Don’t believe us? Watch this:

We second Scott Gustin’s comments about the ornament. Although ridiculous, it’s incredible at the same time. Hallmark literally recreated the entire scene, including lighting and sounds, and put it into an ornament. The mechanics behind how something like this even works is insane to think about. But they did it, and it is, without a doubt, the craziest Christmas ornament we’ve ever seen!

Featuring C-3PO, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader, the ornaments detail the scene from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in which Solo is frozen in Carbonite. With the press of a button, owners can watch Solo be lowered into the freeze-camber and remerge completely frozen in Carbonite, just like the film, all while Chewie lets out a concerned growl.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Backā„¢ Into the Carbon-Freezingā„¢ Chamber Ornament With Light, Sound, and Motion will be available via Hallmark.com on July 15 and sells for $64.99. Of note, fans purchasing the ornament will likely want to also buy a keepsake power chord which is required for Hallmark’s Storytellers series of ornaments. These ornaments all work in tandem to create popular songs and scenes from the film.
