Guests at Magic Kingdom were pleasantly surprised when they noticed a Disney actress in a vehicle during a daytime parade.

On Thursday, Guests at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom were thrilled to see the star of a soon-to-be-released Disney film riding in a parade vehicle, seated just behind a beloved Disney princess. It’s not clear whether Guests were alerted to the star’s presence in the parks before the parade, but it didn’t seem to matter to one Guest who was able to capture a video of the magical, surprising experience and says she was “just shook to the core” when she noticed the actress.

Kayla Gardner tweeted the video of actress Halle Bailey riding in a parade vehicle with Princess Tiana, and her excitement over seeing the young actress is unmistakable. Bailey is one of Disney’s newest young actresses, embodying the role of Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live-action remake, The Little Mermaidwhich will debut in theaters on May 26.

Disney’s live-action remake of the story about Ariel the mermaid and her quest to be human has been in the works for years now. The film stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula the Sea Witch, and Javier Bardem as King Triton, Ariel’s overprotective father.

Bailey’s presence at the Central Florida Disney Park on Thursday was no doubt in the name of promoting the upcoming live-action remake, which has been both highly-anticipated and hated on by Disney fans and Disney haters alike. While some fans welcome a new take on the beloved fairy tale, others take issue with the idea of remaking the classics at all. Some have even taken issue with Disney’s decision to cast an actress who doesn’t look like the depiction of Ariel in the 1989 Disney animated classic.

Clearly, however, the woman who shared the video of Halle Bailey on Twitter was thrilled at the opportunity to see the actress at Magic Kingdom. Hey, it’s always a thrill to see a celebrity during a visit to the parks!
