Guests Leave a Pigsty of a Mess For Disney Cast Members to Clean Up

Disney Dining Mess

Some feel that guests visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth and not being magical or respectful to others. In fact, they have found more parties trying to cut in line, as well as others getting into fights while visiting the Parks.

We have reported on overflowing trash at the Disney Parks, but now we are also seeing some guests leave messes on their tables after they finish eating for the Cast Members to clean up.

The photo, which you can see above, was sent to Inside the Magic anonymously. In the photo, you can see that a family left a pigsty of a mess at their table for Cast Members to clean up.

The anonymous guest told us that they were going to clean it up when they saw another very kind Disney World guest. The guest ended up cleaning the mess up so it did not fall back on the cast members.

Cast Members are at the theme parks to help assist guests when needed, but please do not leave a mess behind for custodians to clean up.

We want to make it clear that while custodian Cast Members are there to help keep the theme parks clean for guests, it is still important to be respectful and clean up after yourselves. Leaving your food spread out across the table and scraps all over the floor is simply disgusting and disrespectful.

Please note that Disney Cast Members and security officials are always at the theme parks in order to maintain a safe environment as much as possible.

If you ever witness activity that makes you feel uncomfortable, or if you are ever concerned when visiting one of the Disney Parks, be sure to find the nearest Cast Member or report your issue with Guest Relations, located in each of the Disney Parks.

Have you ever seen anything like this at the Disney Parks? How do you feel about situations like this? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. While at Disney World we saw a family finishing their ice cream. As one of the children headed to a trash can the dad said to just throw the wrapper on the ground, it was someone’s job to clean it up. My children were shocked that a parent actually said that. So inconsiderate.

  2. There a lot of pig out there and some of them have children and they show that u can have no respect for others.

  3. It’s just so sad that so called adults will do this and allow their children to do so as well. Too bad they can’t be banned because of this.

    • There is no reason for that kind of Mess. I and my Family always clean up before leaving our table. I feel sorry for the cast members and those eating near those pigs.

  4. We always tidy our tables up before we leave – even if the food bins are too far away or inaccessible (I’m on a mobility scooter). The least you can do is stack everything together, nest paper cups, plates etc, and put all left over food in one plate/bowl. We even make sure we wipe any drips of drink or sauce from the table before we leave. Then everything goes tidily onto a tray (and multiple trays will be stacked). Usually there happens to be a CM who kindly takes the tray from us, and then all they have to do is dump the contents straight into the bin without mess and then easily clean the table. And I can’t abide people who think it’s okay to drop food on the floor and then leave it there. I bet they don’t do that at home!!

  5. Out of the 30 something trips we been at Disney, we have never witnessed such a thing. Only in the last 3 years have people gotten so bad. They believe it’s someone else job to clean up. I hate to see their house. Probably looks the same.

  6. I certainly don’t condone this but I had lunch at this particular place and as I was taking the food off the tray the cast member came by and took my tray.
When I finished eating I had to make 3 trips to the trash because I couldn’t carry it all at once without a tray, leaving my young grandchildren alone at the table.
Still no excuse for some who are just lazy pigs

  7. It goes to show u they were brought up with no morals or respect for others. They should be banned and they can go to universal. They need to be escorted out of the park right away. They all think there intitled. There not

  8. It’s not acceptable by any standards but you see this at quick service places often. Consider the difference in those that do sit down dining vs quick service and it helps to explain it but not excuse it.

I am surprised that people are surprised at the messes left by guests. Have you not noticed your local shopping center parking lots that have been a dumping ground for years? (Or anywhere outside) Sorry to wake you but it’s good ole Americans that just don’t care and feel entitled to leave a mess.

  10. Disgusting low life ,no morals ,no education, scruffs of the freeway , need throwing out ,homes like pig sty’s ,kids with no manners.

  11. Husband said covid caused the crazies in people. Not medically but mentally. He says people act entitled and spoiled. We saw a gent toss a glass into the lagoon at EPCOT. But security saw it too and took him for a walk.

I would hate to see some of these snobbish families homes.
