This situation seems like a total nightmare!
When Guests visit a Disney Resort, they go hoping to maximize every second they have in the Parks. Disney vacations are not cheap, and when you are spending hundreds of dollars a day, every hour becomes essential in order to get your money’s worth.
There is nothing more frustrating than having things go wrong on a vacation. Whether it be bad weather, long lines, or even attraction shut-downs, it is easy to get frustrated when your perfect vacation doesn’t go according to plan. Usually, when inconveniences happen, Guests are able to brush things off and move on with their trip.
Unfortunately, one Guest’s situation made it impossible for them to move on from the situation.

Disney Skyliner Suffers Major Breakdown
The Disney Skyliner is a gondola transportation system that connects Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT to Resorts like Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The gondola rides offer a scenic and excellent view of the Resort, making it one of the must-do activities for many Guests visiting Disney World.
While Disney describes the attraction as a “…grand, state-of-the-art gondola system,” some Guests might describe it less favorably. For two Guests who were riding the Skyliner this past weekend, the attraction was their worst nightmare.

Young Couple Shares Horrifying Situation
TikTok user @camryn_brielle shared a video showing her and her boyfriend stuck on the Disney Skyliner. The couple was stuck for 40 minutes in the air. Camryn’s caption reads;
PSA: never take the disney skyliner ‼️ @Disney Parks we were stuck on the disney skyliner for 40 minutes in a tiny unairconditoned, overly heated box high in the sky with no water! not shown here is me crying and the anxiety attack this gave us and all we got in return was a 12 ounce water and a “sorry” when we finally made it to the ground. when you pay over $200 a person for a day in the parks every minute counts and it was sad to lose almost an hour of it ☹️#disney #disneyworld #disneyskyliner #epcot #magickingdom #hollywoodstudios #florida

It is quite shocking to hear that Disney did not offer this couple anything in return for their strenuous circumstances. Anyone who has been on the Skyliner on a hot day knows that they can be quite steamy. Hopefully, this couple was able to recoup and have a magical rest of their day in the Parks.
