When Guests lined up in Disneyland Resort to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!, they were expecting to have a fun and thrill-seeking experience. What they didn’t expect was being evacuated from the ride by Cast Members.

This ride is inspired by the Marvel Studios movie, Guardians of the Galaxy, which is a hit among Marvel fans. The ride was opened in 2017 and has been one of the most popular attractions at the Disney California Adventure ever since. Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! is an overhaul of the previous Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride that used to sit on the same spot. The new ride features characters from the popular movie franchise and has an exciting storyline that takes Park Guests on a thrilling adventure.

The thrill was a little too real today due to an emergency evacuation of the ride.

Many Guests in the comments claim that a fire broke out on the ride, which caused the emergency closing. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported, and the ride was up and running soon after. Fires are becoming a common occurrence at Disneyland Resort these days; it would seem.
